Pointe 1900 starts 2nd phase

Dynaprop Development has started a second phase at Pointe 1900 on State, a 131-unit mixed-use residential and retail development in the expanding South Loop.

The new triangular development, bounded by State, Archer and Cullerton features a brick and stone façade with an ornate turret, copper cornices and large flower boxes built into each unit’s balcony.

Phase II of the development comprises 72 residential units, priced from the $170s to the $350s. The condos have one to two-plus bedrooms, one to three baths and 725 to 1,489 square feet. Heated garage parking is available for $24,900.

“All of the units in Phase II will come with $10,000 worth of free upgrades including granite kitchen countertops and a stainless-steel appliance package,” said Rick Turner, president of Dynaprop Development Corp.

Buyers so far have reserved 21 units, according to Jody Williams, vice president of Jameson Realty Group, the exclusive marketing and sales agent. A new model decorated by the Tonka Group is now open on the third floor of the development.
