Developers have dropped prices on three two-bedroom / two-bath condos at Edgebrook Pointe, the 18-unit building at 6425 W Touhy Ave.
Marketing agent Helen Oliveri said she was too busy to look up the original prices for these homes, but they must have been higher than the $270s, which is where they’re priced now.
Each home has 1,389 square feet and comes with a parking space. The floor plan for these units (right) features a 19′ x 19′ living / dining area with adjoining balcony, a 15′ x 10′ kitchen, a 18′ x 13′ master bedroom with adjoining bath, and a 13′ x 12′ second bedroom with adjoining bath. The plan doesn’t outline closet space, however, so either take those dimensions with a grain of salt or start stocking up on wardrobes.
A slightly larger two-bedroom is selling in the $300s, and seven three-bedrooms are priced from the $320s to the $340s.
Given its far-flung location, Edgebrook Pointe isn’t around a lot of new construction, but it is close to several stores and shopping centers including Wal-Mart, Target and Village Crossing Mall. The Bunker Hill Forest Preserve, the Edgebrook Woods, and the Edgebrook and Billy Caldwell golf courses are just south of the project, as is Metra’s Edgebrook station.
