@ Properties opens Lincoln Park office

At Properties, one of the city’s fastest growing residential brokerages, has opened a new Lincoln Park office, the company’s fourth in Chicago.
The 6,600-square-foot space, at 1586 N. Clybourn, is a part of the bustling Clybourn corridor, where a flood of retailers, from Crate & Barrel to the Container Store to Old Navy, have located in recent years.

The new office will service mainly resale business in Lincoln Park, the Gold Coast and surrounding neighborhoods. High-volume agents will have private offices at the space, and the company has continued its trademark emphasis on technology, with the latest equipment and systems.

“It’s a premier location that attracts significant walk-by traffic, which is already generating more leads for our customers’ property listings,” said Michael Golden, co-founder with Thaddeus Wong of At Properties. “The new office is also very appealing to agents who want to build their business by taking advantage of the latest technology and @ Properties’ marketing tools.”

In addition to high-speed Internet access and the latest office equipment, all three floors and the lower level feature a “WI-FI network” that allows wireless access to all network files, shared printers and the Internet.

“Our Realtors can set up a laptop anywhere in the building and have full connectivity without being tethered to one location,” Golden said. “This is a big advantage for our agents who are always on the go and rely on their computers as tools in the field.”

The company has grown from four agents at its founding in March 2000 to about 175 sales agents. During that period, the firm’s closed sales volume has more than doubled every year, going from $40 million in 2000 to $515 million in 2003.
