Unless you follow our Chicago Real Estate News feed religiously, you might have missed these stories that came across the wire late today. Both stories follow up on topics we’ve covered in recent Yo posts.
- A judge has relieved The Habitat Company of its receivership duties for Chicago Housing Authority properties, saying the CHA “appears to have reformed its practices” over the past 23 years. We talked to Habitat President / CEO Mark Segal about his company’s involvement with the CHA Plan for Transformation during a video interview last month.
- Developers Michael Supera and Richard Zisook have filed revised plans for a mixed-use development planned for the site of the old Lincoln Park Hospital. The development, which calls for new condos, senior housing, and retail space, ruffled a few feathers and sparked some discussion over here upon its announcement. No word in the new story on what changes were made.
