YoChicago has no prior control over the ads that Google surfaces on our site.

One that I noticed today – from an outfit called Axiom Realty Capital – just reeks of a scam. It holds out the promise of 70 to 90% short-term returns with nearly zero risk to your “principle.” Stay away, folks. The operative axiom: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

  • Brian,

    Thanks for thee link.

I’m aware of that option – but getting rid of the likes of this site would require us to pay more attention to the ads than we actually do. And, filtering the garbage is an after-the-fact, never-ending and largely futile effort.

  • Maybe it is a scam and maybe it isn’t, but just assuming without doing any checking is called ‘evil speech’ or ‘gossip’. It would serve your readers more to PROVE it’s a scam than just to guess.
