  • I guess we all have our definition of “reasonable”. Going by the “rent should be 1/3 of your salary” rule, $2,666 per month requires income of nearly $100,000 per year.

    “Reasonable” is a comparative concept. Two-bedrooms in the area are typically more expensive. And, if the rent is shared by roommates / couples, as is common ….
