Release the hounds!

Driving north on Lake Shore Drive at 6:15 p.m. today I noticed that the lakefront path between Oak Street Beach and the North Avenue pedestrian bridge was as crowded as it would be on any night in the summer with walkers, joggers and cyclists.

I didn’t see any jugglers or interpretive-dance/tiny orange construction cones all in a row-roller skaters, but I did see clear proof of the existence of cabin fever.
