It’s been well over a year since Russland Capital Group auctioned off more than 40 of the condos at Michigan Avenue Tower II, 1400 S Michigan Ave. Earlier this month, Chicago Magazine‘s Dennis Rodkin reported that just eight homes were left in the developer’s inventory. Six one-bedroom condos are available from $199,990 to $259,990 (all of these homes were once priced in the $300s, Rodkin says), and two four-bedroom penthouses are priced at $1.59 million (down from $2.1 million) and $1.19 million (down from $1.89 million).

A handful of homes in the building are listed for rent, too. They include:

• Unit #2512: 1 / 1, 800 square feet, $1,450.
• Unit #1810: 2 / 2, 1,027 square feet, $1,800.
• Unit #2203: 2 / 2, 1,260 square feet, $2,350. Price includes heat, A/C, gas, water, cable, and storage; garage parking available for $200.
• Unit #1107: 2 / 2, 1,260 square feet, $2,750. Price includes heat, A/C, gas, water, cable, and storage; garage parking available for $200.

The most interesting rental (for all the wrong reasons) is unit #2508, a 751 square foot one-bedroom / one-bath priced at $2,000. The listing’s lead photo is not of Michigan Avenue Tower II, but its neighbor to the south, Marquee, located at 1464 S Michigan Ave.
