The number of downtown condos, townhomes, and single-families listed for rent through the MLS has been back up above 1,000 for the past couple of weeks, after dipping into the 900s earlier this month.
On Friday, there were 39 homes listed for rent in 60654, the ZIP code for River North west of State Street, ranging from a Marina City studio priced at $1,000 to Cristobal Huet’s old Millennium Centre penthouse, priced at $12,500. Seven condos were listed for rent between March 12th and 18th, including these three, representing the low, median, and high prices for new listings:
Low: $1,350 for a 590 square-foot studio at Millennium Centre, 33 W Ontario St. Parking is available for $200.
Median: $2,050 for a 1,220 square-foot two-bedroom / two-bath at Grand Orleans (pictured), 330 W Grand Ave. Price includes heat and air; parking is available for $150.
High: $3,600 for a 1,511 square-foot two-bedroom / two-bath at Superior at LaSalle, 150 W Superior St. Parking is available for $200.
