Reside on Barry is a 162-unit, 17-story, contemporary high-rise at 533 W Barry Ave in Lakeview East.
The building was completed in 1966. Gordon & Levin was the architecture firm. The building was acquired by an affiliate of Reside Living several years ago and has since had a near-complete makeover.
The apartments
Reside on Barry has a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, all with one bath. Floor plans and availability are accessible online.

The apartments have efficient layouts with little space lost to travel paths, and they have good closet space. An “accent wall program” is a nice touch to make living spaces seem larger and more interesting.
Heat and air-conditioning are individually controlled. Air-conditioning is via individual through-the-wall units.
