Riding the Red Line: Chicago

The Red Line station at Chicago Avenue and State Street is a lot like the one at Grand and State, only without all the orange barrels, concrete barriers, and plywood walls. In fact, the two stations are almost identical in design.

The Chicago station is still in what we consider River North, but isn’t too far away from Streeterville or the Gold Coast. In fact, it’s branded as the “Magnificent Mile” station, due to its proximity to Michigan Avenue.
