Jeremy and Joe weren’t the only ones hanging out by the river last week. On Saturday I took my parents down to the southeast corner of the Michigan Avenue bridge to board one of the Chicago Architecture Foundation‘s popular Architecture River Cruises.
Although many of the towers highlighted in the cruise master’s lecture were decades-old classics like the Wrigley Building, the Tribune Tower, and the Merchandise Mart, my boat-top seat was a great place to get a look at all of the new riverside towers we cover regularly here at Yo. It’s a great way to get a different look at places like the 235 Van Buren, the Trump Tower, ParkView, and Lakeshore East‘s high-rises.
