Rotunda, 2741 N Sheffield Ave

The rounded corners of The Rotunda, planned for 2741 N Sheffield Ave, should bring a whole new shape to the straight-edged streets of Lincoln Park.

The eight-unit development has six simplex condos and two townhouses. All simplexes have two-bedroom two-bath floor plans with approximately 1,570 square feet. The two townhomes come in either a three- or four-bedroom floor plan and range from 2,330 to 2,896 square feet.

The finishes at The Rotunda include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, 42-inch cabinets, a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. The units also feature five-inch crown molding in the living and dining rooms, and hardwood floors througout.

The building features a common rooftop deck with paver blocks. All units include private balconies, while penthouses have private roof decks. One garage parking space is included with each unit.

Thomas Hall of Rubloff Residential Properties has the listing. Prices range from the $520s to the $770s.

  • Looks very cozy in the picture. They forget to mention that it is across the street from both a white hen and starbucks; PLUS backs to the train [and new diversey El stop]. I am disappointed that there are no storefronts…blah condos

  • Also, rendering fails to show that there is an alley between this building and the row houses just south…

  • A whole new shape?

If there’s one thing that isn’t hard to find in Lincoln Park and Lake View, it’s corner buildings with turrets.

  • Hey Joe, a belated kudos on your 4 part YouTube piece on University Village. Just watched it now. Quite interesting
