Row houses with a view of the "parc"

Parc View Place

When I spoke with Chelton Blackburn about the single-family home at 4747 S Drexel Blvd, he also offered some information about Parc View Place, the large development across the street at the corner of 48th Street and Drexel Boulevard in Kenwood.

The park in question is Washington Park, which is located just three blocks south of the development, but I still have no idea why developers seem to prefer this spelling of “park.”

According to Blackburn, six of the development’s nine row houses are still available, including the 2,800 square-foot home in the foreground of the above photo. That four-bedroom / three-bath unit features a front porch and yard, while the other units feature 17″ X 11″ balconies. All of the units come with attached garages.

In addition to that home, there is one three-bedroom / 2.5-bath unit and six larger four- or five-bedroom (depending on how buyers choose to designate rooms), 2,600 square-foot units available.

Prices at Parc View Place start in the $380s for the three-bedroom and go up into the $590s for the largest four-bedroom.
