We’ve seen some festive houses in McKinley Park, Pilsen and Bridgeport, but this single-family home in the Lakewood / Balmoral section of Edgewater caught our eye because of its unusual holiday decor: a mounted deer head with a red lightbulb squashed into its nose hangs from the second-floor terrace. Classy. We’re sure the kids really get into the spirit when they spot the severed head of their beloved Rudolph. Why not just go all the way and stick Santa and Mrs.’ Claus’ heads on the knoll posts?
