Sales update: three South Loop high-rises

Burnham Pointe Vetro, 611 S Wells St

If you’re looking to live just east of the river in the South Loop, you can choose from three high-rises in the area within a couple of blocks of each other. Since competition anywhere in the South Loop is tight, we checked up on each one to get a sales update:

  • Vetro, 611 S Wells St, a 31-story building with 232 units priced from the $200s to the $990s, is 53 percent sold, according to Michael Phocas, sales manager for Maher Partners, which is marketing the project.

  • Burnham Pointe, 720 S Clark St, a 28-story building with 298 units priced from the $190s to the $690s, is 50 percent sold, according to Nelson Derbigny, a sales manager with Terrapin Properties, the developer. Some South Loop residents have protested the project because they said it will block their views.
  • Printers Corner, 170 W Polk St, a 17-story building with 88 units priced from the $280s to the $470s, is 69 percent sold, according to Timon Bernstein, a sales manager with FireStar Communications, which is marketing the project.
