Chicago Real Estate Daily is reporting that Sudler has closed three of its offices, retrenching to a small Bucktown office.
This essentially marks the end of what was once one of Chicago’s proudest and strongest real estate brands.
The news comes as no surprise to anyone in the real estate industry, which has seen agents scurrying for weeks to find new homes for themselves. For the past several weeks I’ve been hearing stories of bounced commission checks and, more darkly, rumors (unconfirmed, and perhaps poisonous) of escrow funds being mishandled.
