We thought we might need our eyes checked when we first saw these three nearly identical single-family homes at 2652 W Walton St in Humboldt Park.
The homes all have four bedrooms and 3.5 baths and come with stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, marble baths, fireplaces and wet bars. They also each have a detached two-car garage and a rooftop deck.
Grun Development, the developer, aims to qualify the homes under the federal government’s Energy Star program, according to Rubloff Residential Properties agent David Hunt, who is marketing the project. Energy Star is run by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy to promote energy efficiency in home products and building.
Hunt says construction should be completed in the next two months, and buyers still have time to choose finishes and kitchen features.
Hunt has the homes priced starting in the $890s.
