Sherman Park, in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood

Sherman Park was one of 10 Chicago parks designed by the Olmsted Brothers and architects Daniel H. Burnham and Co. in the first decade of the 20th century. Unless you spend a lot of time in Back of the Yards, you might not even know it exists. In October 2010, Joe Askins and Joe Zekas of YoChicago.com stopped by the park during a drive around Back of the Yards and New City, and captured a few shots of the park and the geese that currently inhabit it.
