Should you take your home off the market for the holidays?

If you have your home listed for sale you might have a variety of personal or family reasons for sitting out the holiday season and returning to market after the first of the year.

Berkshire Hathaway’s Joanne Nemerovski has been one of the top-tier Chicago agents for several decades, and has presided over nearly $1 billion in home sales. Last week I shot video with Joanne at two luxury single-family listings in Lincoln Park. After we were done, I asked her take on the perennial question of whether, from a market standpoint, it makes sense to take one’s home off the market for the holidays. You can see her answer in the video, and glimpse one of the distinctive homes we visited.

Note: Joanne Nemerovski and Berkshire Hathaway Koenig Rubloff are YoChicago advertising clients.
