Silent nights at Avondale's BelPointe

BelPointe

The phrase “close to public transportation” can mean rattling windows and restless nights. BelPointe, a new condo building in Avondale, is a mere block to the Belmont Blue Line stop – which is underground, sparing condo owners the noise. And they’ll have only a short trek to the train during Chicago’s near-arctic winters.

The newly constructed building, 3443 W Belmont Ave, has simplexes and duplexes with two to four bedrooms. Two of the six units remain unsold, according to a sign outside the development.

The condos feature Brazilian cherry floors, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, marble baths with Jacuzzi tubs, in-unit washers and dryers, two balconies, nine-foot ceiling heights and iPod docking stations. The duplex units include two parking spaces.

Melanie Giglio, of Sergio & Banks Real Estate, has the condos listed starting in the $290s.
