Those free scooters must have done the trick. During my quick call to the Mike Vesole Group on Tuesday regarding 1752 North Rockwell, @properties agent Brooke Epley mentioned that there were six homes left at Baer Lofts, the Funke Architects-designed loft development at 1927 N Milwaukee Ave in Bucktown. Only four of the project’s 16 homes were under contract when I toured the property in May, so it sounds like Vesole’s crew had a productive summer.
Judging from the six listings in the MLS, prices on the lofts have held steady since our last update. Two one-bedroom / one-baths with 820 to 835 square feet are priced in the $260s and $310s, and three two-bedroom / two-baths with 1,125 to 1,135 square feet range from the $350s to the $410s. A single 1,135 square-foot, three-bedroom / two-bath on the building’s fifth and top floor is listed in the $550s.
All of the homes come with Hanak cabinets, stone countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and Grohe, Toto, and Kohler fixtures. Every available unit has a balcony or terrace save one, a 820 square-foot one-bedroom on the second floor.
