Chicago renters can still find open spaces

buildingwithyard2.jpgA friend visiting Chicago from out of town has been commenting on how “open” Chicago is compared to New York. As expensive as we might think it is and despite complaints of “Manhattanization,” Chicagoans aren’t nearly as packed-in as our friends in Gotham. Quirky properties like this one, a small apartment building with a massive front yard in Lake View, are part of what make the city great. Let’s hope some escape the grip of voracious condo developers.
