You may have walked past St James Cathedral many times without ever having noticed the plaque on the building just east of the corner of Wabash and Huron.
If you were to look for the address of St James at its website, you would be directed to 65 E Huron St. I wasn’t able to find any reference on the site to the address listed on the plaque: 666 Rush Street.
There’s no building on Rush with an address number of 666. The corresponding location is the site of a church-related office building in the Miesian style.
Whatever – it struck me as unusual to find a religious building with a 666 address number?
