Earlier posts in our series on the best Streeterville apartments focused on location. We spotlighted the buildings with the best views and most convenient access to grocery shopping, bars and restaurants, retail shops, public transportation, parks and beaches and the expressway grid, and the shortest walk to the Loop.
We then switched from location to the buildings themselves, focusing on affordability, building amenities, boutique ambiance and pet-friendliness.
In our final group of topics, we spotlight the apartments themselves, beginning with the best apartment finishes and features, private outdoor space and studio / convertible floor plans.
One-bedrooms in Streeterville far outnumber any other apartment type. The good news for renters is that a number of buildings have very attractive and functional 1-bedroom layouts.
Price is often a consideration for one-bedroom renters, and one-bedrooms are available in a number of buildings at price points that are very competitive with other sought-after neighborhoods.
This category is so competitive and offers so many good options that we’re going to throw up our hands and take a pass on singling out one of them, with one exception. If price is no barrier, Streeterville’s best in this category is the spacious one-bedroom plus den, bath-and-a-half units on high floors at The Streeter.
