Streeterville’s best apartments – Private outdoor space

Earlier posts in our series on the best Streeterville apartments focused on location. We spotlighted the buildings with the best views and most convenient access to grocery shopping, bars and restaurants, retail shops, public transportation, parks and beaches and the expressway grid, and the shortest walk to the Loop.

We then switched from location to the buildings themselves, focusing on affordability, building amenities, boutique ambiance and pet-friendliness.

In our final group of topics, we spotlight the apartments themselves, beginning with the best apartment finishes and features.

Private outdoor space is scarce in Streeterville apartment towers. Only three buildings have typical units with private balconies: Cityfront Place, The Streeter and Streeter Place.

The balconies in all three buildings that have them are of modest size. You won’t find a studio or convertible with a private balcony in Streeterville, and only Cityfront Place and The Streeter have typical one-bedrooms with balconies.

We’re giving the nod to Cityfront Place in this category because the building’s location and orientation afford great views along the river from the balconies.
