One of the four lavish, landmarked mansions in the 1200 block of North Lake Shore Drive sold this month for $5.15 million. 1260 N Lake Shore Dr, built in 1911 by Holabird & Roche, has five bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and 5,024 square feet spread throughout four floors and a finished basement. The listing pictures above and below showcase some of the home’s fancy furnishings, but Dennis Rodkin noted last week that the furniture wasn’t part of the sale.
Marie Campbell of Koenig & Strey listed the home in March for $5.85 million. According to Rodkin, sellers Fred and Kay Krehbiel bought the home in 1988 for $1.3 million.
