River Village is one of those tucked-away surprises that few Chicagoans have visited but that instantly appeal. The development, set along Chicago’s river, centers around a tranquil central park that imparts a suburban feel despite the striking views of the downtown skyline.
I recently met Sergio & Banks‘ Melanie Giglio at 1026 N. Kingsbury, a rarely-available 4 bedroom, 3 bath corner townhome at River Village that’s listed for sale at $799,900.

Nice development, but I have a problem with the use of the term “suburban living in the city”.
What part about having townhomes encircling a park is “suburban”? What part about peace and tranquility is “suburban”? Cities can have these qualities too.
Sorry, but the suburbs don’t have a monopoly on green space and tranquility. Anyhow, I just had to make that point.
