Sweet Occasions, a cafe serving gourmet coffee, sandwiches, ice cream and sundry treats, has opened a location in Andersonville, at 5306 N Clark St, in the land of cafes. Cafe Boost, at Clark and Balmoral, recently closed, but the new cafe will have Kopi, Starbucks and Taste of Heaven to keep it company — all within a block. Oh, and as part of the chain’s relentless expansion, we hear that a new Starbucks is opening in the bathroom of the Andersonville Starbucks.
