Talking urban planning in Garfield Park

The Public Square at the Illinois Humanities Council, and the Neghborhood Writing Alliance are hosting a discussion Saturday, May 20 on how urban planning affects our access to food, our stress levels, our general health, and our access to healthcare.

The two-hour discussion begins at 2 p.m. at the Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Ave. The event is free, and open to the public. Panelists include university personnel and neighborhood leaders.
