Two posts about The Elysian in less than 24 hours? “This will not stand!” cried the competition at Ten East Delaware.
Okay, not really, but we did receive some news about The Elysian’s neighbor to the south this afternoon. It turns out that the Prime Group‘s Lagrange-designed boutique high-rise, under construction at 10 E Delaware Pl in the Gold Coast, is down to the last of its six penthouses, a 3,075 square-foot, three-bedroom / 3.5-bath residence on the 34th of the tower’s 35 floors.
The home – Penthouse B – is on the western side of the building and has balconies on its northern and southern ends. As you can see in the floor plan at right, the unit has a 16′ x 23′ family room with an island kitchen, a 17′ x 27-6″ great room and a 9′ x 10-6″ den. Unlike most homes we see, every bedroom in this penthouse has its own attached bathroom; a single powder room near the entrance serves as the home’s lone hallway bath.
Finishes include hardwood floors, six-inch crown molding, granite kitchen and bathroom countertops, Poggenpohl cabinets, Franke, Wolf, Miele, and Sub-Zero appliances, and Kohler fixtures.
The penthouse is priced at $2.24 million, or about $728 per square foot. The Elysian’s 49th-floor penthouse, by comparison, has 4,000 square feet, and a price tag of $4.95 million, or $1,237 per square foot.
