Sales are finally winding down at The Fairbanks at Cityfront Plaza, which completed construction back in the fall of 2007. According to sales manager Nathalie Tourre, the 31-story development at 240 E Illinois St in Streeterville has ten units left.
Properties include:
- Three two-bedroom units that range from 1,480 to 1,530 square feet and are priced from the $920s to $990s
- One 1,500 square foot loft-style unit listed in the $550s
- Six one-bedroom / 1.5 baths with 1,011 to 1,071 square feet, priced from the $470s to the $530s
“There’s not a lot of options anymore,” Tourre said. “Sales have been quite steady recently. We’ve been selling one every two to three weeks.”
Builder Centrum Properties had ambitious plans their Cityfront Plaza project, which was originally intended to have three high-rise buildings. The Fairbanks, however, was the only one to see the light of day. In October of last year, Centrum scrapped plans for the second phase of Cityfront Plaza, the 41-story St Clair high-rise at St Clair and Illinois streets.
