The 200 North Dearborn hallway lawsuit

There’s a school of thought that views buying into an American Invsco condo conversion as an act of self-mutilation, and its proponents can point to the losses incurred by many an Invsco buyer. Those folks might be all ears to learn of the Van Gogh-ish mural fencing the sundeck at 200 North Dearborn, Invsco’s long-running Loop conversion.

The condo association at 200 North Dearborn, according to a recent Crain’s article, has secured an $845K default judgment against American Invsco for its alleged failure to deliver on promised improvements to the building’s hallways.

As anyone who’s ever been involved in litigation knows, it’s one thing to get a judgment and quite another thing to collect on it.
