The March events calendar for K2 apartments just arrived via email, and it contains dozens of entries.
A new Whole Foods is opening in March a few blocks from K2, and the store will be showcasing its offerings in K2’s lobby at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4.
Excited shoppers began lining up around the block at 7 the cold, wintry morning of Whole Foods’ recent opening in Streeterville, and filled the store throughout the day.
Whole Foods’ new West Loop store, however, might not generate more than an eye roll or a yawn from K2 residents who already have access to great grocery shopping options.
A pedestrian bridge connects K2 to one of Jewel-Osco’s best stores.
The West Loop Mariano’s is almost across the street from the new Whole Foods. The French Market, Walmart and Target are nearby – and the Lincoln Park Whole Foods is about a mile north of K2
