The Shoreland, once one of Chicago’s grandest hotels, has been reincarnated as a luxury apartment building.

The Shoreland’s soaring Art Deco lobby recently hosted a circus-themed grand opening party celebrating the Hyde Park landmark’s transformation.

The Studio Gang-inspired renovation of the Shoreland resulted in a series of intimate gathering spaces in the lavish lobby, mezzanine-level amenities that include resident lounges, a game / party room and a fitness room with space for yoga, strength training and cardio equipment.

All new apartments boast kitchens with granite counters, under-mount sinks, excellent cabinet and counter space and a stainless steel appliance package that includes a dishwasher and built-in microwave. All of the apartments have walk-in closets and in-unit washer / dryers.

The Shoreland has a prominent park-front location that’s convenient to transportation, shopping, dining, nightlife and the University of Chicago campus.
