The dense and diverse dining scene near Evanston’s E2 Apartments

Residents at the new E2 Apartments who set out to sample a different downtown Evanston restaurant each day will spend several months completing their rounds.

Evanston’s dining scene is dense and diverse and, as you’d expect, it has some venues that have been popular for years. Dixie Kitchen is one of them, and it just might be your first breakfast stop when you move to E2. If there’s too long a wait, Le Peep is right next door.

On Saturday mornings from May through November E2 residents have the 40th annual Evanston Farmers Market just half a block away.

Residents can work off the calories at E2’s fitness facilities, which include an outdoor pool, a fitness room with strength training and cardio equipment, and a nearly full-length basketball court that can serve as a volleyball court and a yoga / Pilates studio.

E2 is a full-amenity, high-service, pet-friendly new community with studio to 3-bedroom apartments and townhomes.
