“Melrose between Broadway and Halsted is nearly idyllic — it’s just gorgeous,” says @properties agent Bob Darrow early on in this segment from our Boys Town tour. We started our walk down the long, leafy block at Melrose and Broadway, site of Nettlehorst Elementary School (and last week’s “name the nabe” photo) and worked our way west, stopping occasionally to check out some of the new condos and single-family homes for sale we came across.
Condos on this stretch of Melrose Street range from the $240s for a one-bedroom / one-bath to the $740s for a four-bedroom / 2.5-bath duplex. One townhome is priced in the $650s, two multi-family buildings are available in the $650s and at $1.15 million, and a new single-family (seen in the video) is listed at $1.95 million.
