The Chicago Tribune weighs in on the subtle art of writing real estate listings. Apparently, it’s a lot like writing personal ads: sounding needy gets you nowhere. Sellers who described themselves as “motivated” had a tougher time unloading properties quickly and profitably than those who made liberal use of words like “beautiful,” “gourmet” or “golf.”
