Crain’s Chicago Real Estate Daily has the latest on the redevelopment of the CHA’s Lathrop Homes, a largely-unoccupied 35-acre project that spans the far corners of the Lincoln Park and North Center neighborhoods along the Chicago River.
The latest step in the ritual dance between the development group and local stakeholders calls for just over 1,200 housing units, some of which would be in the existing buildings north of Diversey.
The project’s website doesn’t appear to have been updated this year, and the latest entry on the news page dates to January of 2011.
