YoChicago doesn’t often cover resale homes, but when a client asks whether you’d like a slot between the Associated Press and NPR to interview the President’s neighbor …. Yo goes.

While waiting my turn to interview Bill Grimshaw, one of the home’s owners, I chatted with Trish Hoffman of the Blitz Group, the firm handling publicity for Coldwell Banker‘s Matt Garrison.

The home, at 5040 S. Greenwood, sits on an oversized lot on a beautiful Hyde Park / Kenwood block. It’s being offered on a “best offer” basis with no fixed price. Where it will sell, according to Hoffman, depends on “”the Obama factor.”
