I’m puzzled by the Central Lake View Merchants Association‘s street banners along Belmont and Sheffield. They’re the only ones I’ve ever seen in Chicago that have a human image on them.
What’s the message here? This area is not Boystown? A recommended rape-defense posture?
I doubt any woman in a rape-defense posture would be smiling so broadly.
