Citta Development’s Mondial has broken ground in River West, according to Jim Murrin, one of the Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate agents who is marketing the project. Today we stopped by the site, at 900 W Huron St, and saw a few telltale mounds of dirt.
Mondial will have 142 standard and loft-style condos with one to four bedrooms. Building amenities will include 24-hour doorstaff, a landscaped outdoor park area and a landscaped roof deck with a penthouse community room.
Interior finishes will include hardwood floors, marble baths, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances from General Electric and individual security systems. Each unit also has a private balcony.
According to Murrin, deliveries will begin in 16 months, and the building is scheduled to be completed in 24 months.
Prices range from the $230s to the $950s, and Murrin says 50 of the 142 units are sold.
