Last weekend while touring Rogers Park open houses, I found this two-bedroom / one-bath condo resale that was completely rehabbed a year ago. Unit GS at 1667 W Farwell Ave, marketed by Griffith, Grant & Lackie, is priced near the median for all two-bedroom condos in the area. The full range, including a number of foreclosures, starts around $74,000 and goes up to the $320s for a fresh gut rehab.

  • Just my humble opinion, but perhaps paying $163,000 for a four room garden 2BR in Rogers Park in 2008 was not a good move. Also it might be very optimistic to attempt to sell it in this market for anywhere close to that amount.
