It’s hard to envision it at this point, but a year from now the bustling construction site just south of the 235 Van Buren condo high-rise will be a lush landscaped park.
Underneath the park will be tunnels that are the entrance / exit ramps from lower Wacker Drive to the Congress Parkway approach to the Eisenhower Expressway.
The park is part of a major reconstruction of Congress Parkway, one of the major gateways to Chicago, from the Eisenhower to Michigan Ave.
