Today Mark Boyer stumbled across the Facebook page for 200 Squared, the new rental high-rise at Lake and Wells street in the Loop, and posted a few new interior shots at Curbed.

That post got me thinking about EnV, located on the other side of the river at 161 W Kinzie St in River North. I haven’t been by EnV lately and don’t normally hear from its leasing staff, so progress there flown under my radar. Judging from the tower’s Facebook page, I’ve missed a lot. On September 24, the tower threw a grand opening bash, where, according to Chicago Home & Garden, “guests sipped Svedka cocktails, heard a performance by Tyson Ritter of The All-American Rejects and took in a poolside fashion show by Sophia Vintage, if that tells you anything about EnV’s target market.”

Pulling together price ranges from EnV’s website is a little too labor-intensive, so I’m going to hope that the prices at Apartments.com are accurate: studios with 470 to 632 square feet are available from $1,682 to $2,088 per month, one-bedrooms with 771 to 1,008 square feet are $2,431 to $3,050, and two-bedrooms with 1,145 to 1,207 square feet are $3,052 to $3,720.
