Astoria Tower has converted from condos to rentals since I visited the rooftop terraces on the penthouse level to check out the 360-degree views on a brilliantly sunny day.

Several months before my visit Erik Stonikas also visited the penthouse level for a look around.

Astoria Tower is just one of dozens of South Loop high-rises that enjoy spectacular views of the downtown skyline and lakefront.
