The South Loop's on steroids

When will all the highrise development in the South Loop slow down?

We hear that the neighborhood was the most active condo market in the city in 2005, accounting for about 36 percent of sales of new-construction and converted condos.
Last we checked, back in about October, there were 16 highrises underway. We hear that some of the original South Loopers, who bought the first lofts in the neighborhood, are not happy that they are losing their amazing views. That’s the downside of being an urban pioneer.

Anyone know if there is much more developable land around the South Loop?
