Fall seems to have come and gone in the blink of an eye, and all we’re left with are a few yellow leaves and the winter weather. YoChicago’s Val reflects on the pain of living in a cold apartment over at her Yo Renting journal, “Twentysomethings,” and wonders when other people decide to flip the switch on the central heating. Val’s just moved back from California, so her pain is particularly acute. As a native Aussie, I can relate.
