Ok, we’ve asked you before which high-rise you think is the most be-yoootiful in all of Chicagoland, but have you ever wondered which one wins the contest that counts – the popularity contest? Well, we can tell you which high-rise is the reigning champ in the Miss South Loop stakes, anyway.
According to statistics from the good folks at Appraisal Research Counselors, the neighborhood’s current Miss Congeniality is CMK Development’s 1720 S Michigan, which was the fastest-selling tower in the first quarter of 2006, according to Appraisal Research Counselors.
Some 295 of the 498 units are under contract and the building is now under construction.
