Thrush nears a sellout at Shakespeare Court

Only five condominiums and two townhomes remain for sale at Shakespeare Court, a new development by the Thrush Companies in North Kenwood-Oakland, on the South Side. All of the units are available for delivery in 30 days, according to the developer.

The project, on East 46th between Ellis and Greenwood, includes 36 condominiums with terraces that overlook a landscaped courtyard and indoor parking in a private garage. Shakespeare Court also includes six nearby Victorian-style townhomes that are designed to blend in with surrounding historic single-family homes.

The remaining condos are priced from the $240s to the $250s, while the townhouses are priced at $379,900 and $389,900. Numerous upgrades are included in prices on the remaining homes, according to David Chase, president and CEO of the Thrush Companies. These include granite countertops, Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, 42-inch maple cabinets, hardwood floors in living areas, fireplaces, Whirlpool tubs and washers and dryers. Balconies and yards provide homes at the community with plenty of outdoor space, according to Chase.

The sales center for Shakespeare Court, www.ThrushHomes.com, is located at 4207 S. Cottage Grove, in Thrush’s Jazz on the Boulevard development.
